Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Zanklea Digital, based in Messina, Italy ("we," "us," "our"), collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Virtual Muse Builder website, checkout pages, and web application (together, the "Service").

We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Italian data protection law.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum amount of information necessary to deliver the Service:

  • Purchase information — name, email address, and payment details, collected and processed by our payment platform, Systeme.io, and its payment processor (Stripe). We do not directly receive or store your full payment card details.
  • Communication data — any information you provide when you contact us by email for support.
  • Basic technical data — standard web server logs (such as browser type and approximate location) that may be collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and performance purposes.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

Virtual Muse Builder is designed with privacy in mind. We want to be explicit about what we never collect or store:

  • We do not store your Replicate or OpenAI API keys on our servers. If you choose to save a key for convenience, it is stored only in your own browser's local storage on your own device — never transmitted to or kept by us.
  • We do not store the images you generate. Image generation happens directly between your browser and the third-party AI provider you choose; we have no access to and do not retain copies of your output.
  • We do not store the text prompts you create inside the App on any server we control.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Process your purchase and grant you access to the App;
  • Send you transactional emails (such as your access link and receipt);
  • Respond to support requests;
  • Comply with legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on the following third-party providers, each governed by their own privacy policy:

  • Systeme.io — handles our sales pages, checkout, and email delivery.
  • Stripe — processes payments on behalf of Systeme.io.
  • Netlify / Cloudflare — host the Virtual Muse Builder web application and route image-generation requests.
  • Replicate and OpenAI — process your image-generation requests using the API key you provide. Your use of these services is also subject to their respective privacy policies and terms.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers, as they may process data independently of us.

6. Data Retention

We retain purchase and communication records for as long as necessary to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and to resolve any disputes. As explained above, we do not retain your API keys, prompts, or generated images.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@zankleadigital.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) or your local supervisory authority.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we do hold. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Data Transfers

Some of the third-party providers listed above (including Replicate, OpenAI, Netlify, and Cloudflare) may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this occurs, these providers generally rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above.
